Warranty claim for fold 4 hinge

So a few days ago I noticed some greasy gunk appearing on the hinge of my fold 4, and now the phone only opens about 170 degrees. Bought the phone in sept 22, is this something I can get fixed through the warranty? Does anyone have any success with this ? Theres no dents or scratches on the hinge as it's never been dropped but reading online it seems a mixed bag as to weather it's covered or not.

Yes mine is in for second time with this problem. I'm getting it fixed under warranty they upgrading to S24. I appreciate I've lost a lot of money on this and not happy with samsung. But don't want to be left with a £1700 paperweight when the 2yr warranty runs out.

Pay 85 through Lloyd's bank card phone insurance is in the perks of nearly all there cards that's what I did

Worth looking into what bank cards cover it if your in the fold market joint accounts get 4 claims a year my experience you'll need them love the folds have 3 4 and 5 won't stop me getting more but definitely worth looking into bank cover you probably have it and don't know
