I've been trying to add a second esim to my Samsung flip 5 but I can't. The physical SIM slot is in use and there is an esim in use as well. I factory reset my phone and I added a new esim then. I still need to add the second esim.
It's a fully unlocked device. I tried wiping the system cache, resetting network settings but nothing works.

Hi,
If you’re having trouble adding a second eSIM to your Samsung Flip 5, try the following steps:
Check Compatibility:
- Ensure the Samsung Flip 5 model supports dual eSIMs. Not all models have this feature.
Update Software:
- Make sure your device is running the latest software version.
Carrier Support:
- Verify that your carrier supports multiple eSIM profiles on the same device.
Add eSIM:
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Add mobile plan and follow the instructions to add the second eSIM.
If these steps don’t work, contact Samsung support for further assistance.
Hope this helps!

@Anonymous User: The Galaxy Z Flip5 supports a single nano SIM and a single eSIM. If you already have a nano SIM inserted in the phone, and an eSIM has already been registered, then it won't be possible to add a second eSIM via Settings > Connections > SIM manager.

Could be a new eSim needs to be requested from the network as it has been registered against the phone prior to the factory reset
