UK Pre-order delayed and SMS: Z Fold3, Z Flip3

Looks like the UK are also being hit with pre-order delays - I ordered a Flip 3 for delivery on release date and received a text yesterday saying that delivery will be delayed until mid-September! This is really poor on Samsung's part - customer loyalty takes a massive hit when pre-orders are not fulfilled.

Anyone else in the UK had this issue?

Here in the UK, Tesco are advertising a Galaxy Z Flip3 with 3 years of Tesco Mobile for an excellent price. It's even being advertised on TV here - and yet the offer is permanently marked as 'out of stock'.

But here's the thing... if I log into my personal Tesco account, the offer still shows as 'out of stock' - unless I choose Pay As You Go, when it suddenly shows as being available for next day delivery!!

I emailed Tesco Mobile who replied yesterday, saying that it's a problem with Samsung. Anyone know what's going on here? Is there a huge shortage of Flip3's or something??

This is still going on was supposed to have recieved flip 3 beginning of October and now for the 2nd time recieved a msg a day before delivery it is going to be postponed to the 11th of Nov. Very dissapointed as it was supposed to have been my birthday present.

My mother ordered her phone in September.  2 months later still nothing. New message today, delayed again until November 11th this time. Shocking. Paying for no phone at the moment.

I ended up ordering a Flip3 from Tesco's today who told me (at the last minute) that they only have purple ones in stock - not really my preference !!

They reckon they can get a black one to me within 72 hours - so here's hoping....

The good news is that it just arrived - almost exactly 24 hours after placing my order!! The bad news is that it's accompanied by a SIM but no instructions for fitting it - and needless to say, the shop where I bought it aren't answering their phone!!

[Edit...] I realised that it comes with a tool for removing the SIM compartment so that's okay now. A dumb question - but is it possible to power down the phone? I found 2 buttons which (when pressed together) powered it on but I can't find a way to power it off again.

Another delay. New message. Delivery delayed again. That's 3 months. Asked for guarantee we can still claim the watch as it puts us well over the 60 days to claim and told yes. Also paid compensation. But 3 months is a bit of a joke to be honest. All whilst they already took the money.

Just ask for your money back and buy it somewhere else. I bought mine at Tesco. They only offer black or purple but I wanted black anyway.
