Z fold 6 Overview

As my time  with the Z Fold 6 comes to an end an overview and my final post.  it has been a great experience and privileged to test it. Thanks to @SocietyGirl @Lucy C  @AntS  and the communitty Team.

Pros:

Fast and efficient device, the versatility is a major plus point  as the device meets different demands  whether on the cover screen  or the large inner display.

Ideal for productivity and entertainment  options  (more detail in my other posts)

Graphics are very impressive, I am not much of a gamer but gaming fans would notice the difference  with this mobile Device.

I have had a very smooth experience- very few lags.

I think this device would appeal to Business users,Designers,Artists,Gamers as well as General Tech fans.

Cons:

One disappointment is that the S Pen does not work on the cover screen, even if I would largely use the bigger screen in any case.

Whilst durability has improved it is still an  IP48 rating , some may still have concerns over Display/hinge.   Still some problems reported in this area  though did not have an issue myself.

The crease is not really noticeable as you get to grips with the Fold, some further refinement would not go amiss though.

Not a great hindrance for me but the Device can only support up to 25 watt  wired charging.

Cameras more  impressive than I imagined though maybe still falls a bit short for the cost.

The price: originally retailed at almost  £1800 and whilst recognise the intricacies of making Folds think it is a bit too much of a premium.  Notice though there currently a £200 discount .

Would I buy one:   The Jury is still out on that one , more likely to consider S Devices.

Still it has been a great experience!

Thank you for sharing your final thoughts on the Samsung Fold⁶ you've been reviewing.

You know you want one 🤔

Hey there @JAMES4578

Another great write up. As you know, I also product tested the Fold 6.

From my experiences I found the cameras to be at least as good as the S24 Ultra with the processing a little better.

(Then again, I'm still underwhelmed by S24 Ultra cameras so I would read the Fold 6 is slightly better).

Otherwise a very capable, if expensive, device. I would have preferred a wider device when closed though, felt a bit thin for my liking.

But it is a premium niche product that has a place and there are many positives about the Fold 6 (anyone interested can read my reviews from my profile).

Great last chapter @JAMES4578

Was thinking of getting Z fold 6 for a while now as a secondary device, I think I might wait for the new Z series to come this year, and maybe will join flip side as well, been great chapters from you and others who put different perspectives and took time to point out certain things. Like mentioned before it will be a great guide for people who wants to get a Z series.

Great review, ZFOLD have always been the most expensive, sure my ZFOLD4 1TB was £2k, £1,400 after a trade in.

The EE made me jump for the ZFOLD6.
