I have had the Fold for over 2 weeks now and so can give a more extensive review of my experience. I do not intend to focus too much on the set up experience as that as already been detailed. However set up was seamless, no others have found a fresh install works best but have not had problems with Smart Switch and the system worked well on this occasion.

Let’s go the Device itself , as expected it is a premium Device of High quality which seems very durable. The displays are exceptional and the main display is a 7.6 inch GXGA screen (2160x1856) and both screens have the 120 refresh rate. However what does that mean in practice, basically it it a bright and vibrant display and should give you a great experience. Peak Brightness is 2600 nits and if had previous version should notice the difference when taking it outside in Bright sunshine (though probably not going to be too much of that at the moment.

The processor is fast and efficient with a number of apps open either over Data or wifi. I am using an esim on this Device, there was an initial issue even though the wifi was fine. However it was sorted after rebooting the router.

I would say the sound is crystal clear and very impressive over calls, audio and music. The phone speaker works very well and a high level when using Bluetooth with the Galaxy Buds 3 pro. I have already done a review of the Buds but even more amazed when using them with the Z Fold 6 than any of my S Devices. The battery is not the most powerful but not a major issue, it takes around 1 hour 20 minutes to fully charge. Battery life was perhaps a bit disappointing initially but it is on the learning phase for 7-14 days. My usage has varied a bit but on one of the heaviest usage days achieved 8 hours screen on time over roughly a 16 hour period.

Both screens have their uses, I would say that the cover is good for some selfies, text and particular Apps. I was a bit surprised to find you can only use the S Pen on the inner screen though it is not much of an issue. Of course if you want the benefit of a Tablet experience and are doing a lot of multitasking the inner screen is the way to go. It is also much better for videos. There are a variety of ways to use split screens, mostly using method of bringing up App from the Dock as you can then resize specific Windows. If tap the divider you can also swap the apps and change from Horizontal to vertical split screen. you can actually long press to add a 3rd app if desired though you will obviously have smaller windows. If you tap the dotted divider in the centre and star icon can add App pair to Taskbar,Homescreen or Apps Edge panel.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with this phone @JAMES4578  👍

For me the internal screen brings so much in regards to multi tasking and media consumption.

A remarkable powerful Samsung phone indeed.

@JAMES4578 Great battery stats and insights.

Multi pairs are great. You can also have a pop-up or picture in the picture mode.

Oddly, of late, I am using the outer screen more, ZFOLD4

Forgot to ask, do you also use a tablet or laptop?
Would be good to know if the unfolded fold is sufficient

Tablet more often would say the unfolded Fold experience may well be sufficient for mobile needs.

Interesting, I went cold turkey with my S8 Ultra, I find it a chore pulling out the Galaxy Book
