Terrible camera quality on Fold 6

Got the new Fold 6 and the cameras are absolutely terrible quality. Had the Fold 4 before and it was significantly better. Anyone know why?

Could the lenses be smudged 🤔 

Js this the front facing camera or forward facing camera that's not impressing you. 

Can you upload an example to show the members. 

There is also variouscamera settings that can be changed, along with apps such as Expert Raw that can be used. 

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within. 

There is a diagnostic test tool found in the Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything. 

Please consider going over to your dial pad and type in *#0*# and this will bring up a number of tests to try.
If they don't help then seek support from a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre.

The tree pictures were taken almost at the exact same time. The food one is extremely similar (same bowl, same peanut butter/chocolate/banana) but at different times. The pictures appear bland compared with the old phone

I uploaded some pics that are similar, especially the tree one that was taken at the exact same time (just a different tree). Diagnostics and other things don't really show a problem. Both pics were taken with the "standard" camera settings, no Pro/Expert RAW mode or anything (nor would I want to have to manually adjust the camera every single time I want to take a photo)

I think the pictures look vivid, pretty good tbf, if I want a camera for great great shots, I'm paying for a really good camera, with all that SLR stuff and mega mega pixels. Honestly the pictures are good, this is honestly a go to spec savers moment 😂, unless it's me 🤷🏾

Just wait until one UI 7 with all the AI improvements, and then retake the same pictures (post them on here of course) and compare them. The deserts look sooooooooo good 😋

I agree its pathetic camera quality. I will never buy a fold phone. I wasted my money
