Since update can't get out of safe mode

I installed the latest software update today, and since then my phone has been locked in safe mode. Despite tapping the "turn off" button (which restarts the phone) several times, and turning it off completely, it always restarts in safe mode.

Your gonna have to perform a factory reset or reinstall the whole firmware again on your PC

I would recommend clearing your cache partition before trying the reset.

@Will_Oxford: While in Safe Mode, have you tried pressing the holding the Power key on the side of the device, and selecting 'Restart' as opposed to 'Power Off'?

Thanks .... I ended up contacting the Samsung Support chat bot, which pointed me to the volume down button which was stuck .... and freeing it sorted the problem.
