SHARING PHOTOS FROM GALLERY TO WHATSAPP NOT WORKING

Hi. 

I have an issue where if I open up the SAMSUNG GALLERY app, select a photo, then select the SHARE option, then select WHATSAPP, then select the CONTACT/ PERSON in WHATSAPP I want to share the photo with, then WHATSAPP opens up to that CONTACT/ PERSON but the PHOTO has not transferred into WHATSAPP so I can then send it on to the CONTACT/PERSON. 

This used to work all OK a few months ago. Having searched the Web I have found many others with the same issue. 

I have done what others have suggested as follows:

Deleted & reinstalled WA 

Cleared cache & memory for WA

Turned off AUTOBLOCKER

Checked all WA and SAMSUNG GALLERY permissions are enabled.

Still cannot get it to work.

Any ideas from anyone?

I FIXED IT! The issue was with WHATSAPP SETTING to CLOSE APP IMMEDIATELY which I changed to CLOSE AFTER 1 MINUTE.

I guess WA was closing so fast that the photo would not have enough time to load into WA.

I also have this annoying problem too.

But I can't work out how you fixed this issue. 

Can you please explain exactly where the location is in what's App to change the 

"Close app setting"

Hi.

OPEN WHATSAPP
GO TO SETTINGS
GO TO PRIVACY
SCROLL DOWN TO APP LOCK
SET TO ENABLE AFTER 1 MINUTE OR 30 MINUTES

Many thanks for responding so quickly. 

Tried your suggestion, but unfortunately it didn't work. 

When trying to send it converts the file from a jpeg to a .bin file (absolutely bizarre).

I am facing this same issue. I think is after I updated the lastest software update.
