Spend about £1400 to get this faulty phone! Had it less than a year when the black line appeared in the middle of screen,Google searched to see many videos from all over the world with the same issue. Called Samsung to be accused of "dropping in in the water" or "maybe you damaged the screen" excuse! The person even asked me to turn off the phone while I was on call because he didn't know what to say! Obviously he didn't call back.
Asked and sent videos on the X account and of course they acted shocked " oh what's that line and light? Never seen that before, have you dropped in in water?!"
Called about 5 other times everyone acted surprised like they never heard of the issue before, the issue that was all over the web! Visible with a one simple Google search.
# Samsung did not want to admit the factory fault with their ZFold and wanted me to pay £850 to repair the screen but "no grantees".
The line got bigger in a month then the whole inside screen started flashing strong white light and became unusable. So I just used the front small screen while paying the rest of contract for the faulty piece of cr**p. Then same happened to that as well. flashing white light and then the phone died completely.
I am still paying for this rubbish and now have to use my mum's old galaxy8! It's truly disgusting and shocking how there's no decency to admit this fault. I recently looked on YouTube and saw that z4and 5 also have the same problem.
Why are these phone haven't been taken off the market?!! No one has been given refunds?!! It's a biggest scam of All.
When my contract finishes paying for that useless phone I will not get another Samsung. It's absolutely shameful how this giant multimillionaire company has sold us this expensive piece of a faulty kit!

I'd have taken the phone into a service centre as soon as the first line problem occurred. I wouldn't have wasted time on the phone. At that time, you were still under warranty, and so you wouldn't have had to pay anything. I'd have definitely taken it in for repair when the line got bigger, but instead, you continued to use the phone until the issue got worse, and eventually the screen failed altogether. By that time, the warranty had also run out! Why? Why wait so long? I don't get it. Like you say, it's a £1400 phone. If my new car engine develops a fault, I don't carry on driving it and waste time on the phone...it's straight into the garage.

I previously owned the Flip 3 and Flip 5, and while I appreciated their compact size and stylish appearance, I eventually encountered durability issues. After careful consideration, I decided to switch to the S24 Ultra. Initially, the transition from a small phone to a large one was unfamiliar, but ultimately, it proved to be the best decision. Notably, the S24 Ultra offers exceptional battery life, which is a significant advantage.

Read my post again maybe?!as I said it was under a year old contract so was under warranty when I called them. They said they want that amount but no grantees if they can fix it as they accused me of doing something to the phone myself. Please don't be a spoke person for them! They definitely don't need you defending them and I definitely don't need your patronising advice.

I was going to get that phone but to be honest this experience has left such a bad taste that I wouldn't go back to Samsung again. Think after the payment finishes I'd go for a Google pixel.

How can a person on the other end of a phone possibly hope to assess your device without actually seeing it. No, sorry, the phone needed hands on and you shouldn't have accepted that advice. You are partly to blame here. Sorry, you find it patronising, but hey it is what it is.

Hey, don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't feel some kind of apathy here, but don't be so easily brushed off by ppl. Stand up for yourself. Otherwise, you'll get nowhere.
Going forward, it sounds like you are paying for the device by finance? If so, then reach out to the finance company and explain in detail what's happened. They have quite a bit of sway.
