Samsung z Flip 6 Unresponsiveness after software update

My phone is barely 3months old, never been dropped. After my latest update, phone screen is unresponsive. Once locked it needs multiple resets and luck to get it working again. Mini screen get heated once the phone is locked and unlocked again. There's no Physical damage to my phone and was working fine till my update last night.

Take it to a Samsung service centre. If you've only had it 3 months they will sort it for free or give you a new one.

I'm sorry to read that you are experiencing these issues with your phone. 

We have seen some previous posts where people are experiencing similar issues.

You may want to consider these troubleshooting steps. 

1. Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

2. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's } 

3. Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode. 

4. Send feedback via your Samsung Members App 

5. As a very last resort back up and factory reset but does not use the back up to set your phone up manually. 

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

I had same issue, got worse as followed everything the Samsung told me to do and nothing worked. Today it went completely back and couldn't get it working had to take it back the shop. Seems Samsung updates need to sort of the z flip 6 to be included without making them all paperweights.

I got the Flip6 a few months ago.  After an update, it became glitchy and screen kept freezing.  After a day or 2, the whole screen pixelated and then went blank and now I cant see anything on the screen when its open. I can only use the small front screen but am unable to use any of the installed apps,
I have logged a repair and the phone should be collected tomorrow to go to be repaired (as there are no local repair shops)
