Over a month th ago now I updated my Z Fold5 to the latest OS, as soon as that happened all my 3rd party Bluetooth devices stopped working!

I uninstall their apps and reset the devices, but my phone either wouldn't see them on the near by or they would find them but wouldn't pair!
Contacted Samsung who blamed the 3rd party devices, so I contacted those people who have registered the issue as they have multiple reports from SAMSUNG users!

I've been following numerous troubleshooting methods on samsungs members site as well as in other forums, but nothing worked!
Today I tried resetting my Bluetooth and WiFi settings... now my Galaxy ring, buds pro and Watch 6 classic won't connect! My phone will start pairing and then I get a message saying device disconnected!

Contacted Samsung support who went through a bunch of ***** I've already tried and I told them as much! Their solution? "The only option in your area is for a pickup and repair, most issues are usually fixed in 11 days"
So I will be without my phone and by extension all my Samsung devices for AT LEAST 11 days!? Do you have any idea how many thousands of pound I have spent on these devices?? Just for Samsung to break them all with an update and blame everyone else for the problem! Then say I have to send my phone away for at least 2 weeks! And I don't have a "spair phone" just lying around! So I'd have to either reach out to all my friends looking for someone who can lend me an old device or have to GO OUT AND BUY ONE!?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, @Tristan8, but if you do change your mind about arranging an inspection/repair to determine what steps are required to resolve this, you can arrange this here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

Just checking if you tried wiping the cache partition(which is recommended after updates)/Factory Reset (would obviously need to back up before performing the latter)  which can help at least with the Samsung Devices.

However it may a significant issue and understand the frusatration of a long wait , hopefully can borrow a phone and you could buy one of the cheaper Devices if unable to source one.

After doing some digging i have found this has been an issue with Samsung One UI 6 since late last year, every time they roll the update out to the next batch of phones they start to experience issues with Bluetooth devices.

Maybe insteadpeoprolling out an update that breaks a key function of their phones they could instead fix the problem BEFORE spreading it out to their devices??

I've been on the fence about switching to Apple for years now, but I liked Samsung and as stated in the original post, I've spent thousands of pounds on the ecosystem, but now I think I'll just switch to Apple when my contract renews as they actually make sure their updates don't break their devices and when there are issues they sort them out QUICKLY!

I work for a telecoms company and am pretty tech savy. I did clear the cache and restart my phone after the update. Did not work.

Also clearing the Bluetooth cache in app settings has been removed in the last update.

Maybe look up the issue before claiming its not an issue. This is just one of many posts dating back to late LAST YEAR about this issue.
