There are hundreds of reviews of this device from content creators far more experienced than me, so i have decided to just show a few of my favourite use cases over this last week.
Reading Magazines, books and comics
Whether you like to 'kindle read' books, your favourite monthly magazines and TV listings, or you are a comic fan... the fold 7 and the inner 8" screen is a great way to do this when travelling on a train or sitting at home.
I really enjoy this use... and as a subscriber for Readly magazine subscriptions, it saves me a lot of individual costs for my favourite reads.
Mobile gaming
With a mobile gaming handset and the fold7, with its super powerful Snapdragon Elite, i have been playing AAA gaming titles through my Xbox ultimate game pass , and NVidia Geforce Now memberships.
All the games i have thrown at the fold7 have played flawlessly... StarWars jedi survivor, indiana jones, the latest robocop game, and tombraider remastered. Along with other racing and sports games such as fifa and tiger woods golf.
The extra screen size does make a big difference in some games, and gives more screen than a steam deck and other handhelds.

I was a bit worried about size and whether the fold 7 would fit in my video device gimbal. The fold 6 was too thick and it made the jaws of the attachment unstable. Thankfully the fold 7 with a slim case fits perfectly and the combination of gimbal and fold 7 give a great capture.

Samsung Dex
It is very easy with a cheaper USB C dongle, monitor, keyboard and mouse, to put together a capable PC environment with the use of Samsung Dex. I am lucky to havr my gaming setup to use the RGB device peripherals from, but a cheap Dex setup can be made with a small budget.
It does improve productivity and one of the utilities that is often overlooked with S series and fold devices.

Multi-window / multitasking
Finally one of the reasons so many people like the fold devices, is the ability to have up to four windows active on screen, and the OneUI8 software has some really good improvements for the handling of multiple windows.
Although i have highlghted only my top 5 uses from the last week, there are plenty more things that have impressed me about this device. I have also an S25ultra, and i am not going to make comparisons between them, they both offer very different user experiences.
Finally just a few photos taken with the main 200MP camera. Whilst the device doesnt have the space zoom, i am suitable impressed with the quality of the images that the fold 7 camera provides. Some of these takes in the dark auditorium environment with multiple lights have come out surprisingly well.
