One UI 7 release date delayed

I am totally disappointed from this news!

This update was delayed for more than expected, And it should not take this long,Also providing it to the S24 only for Beta testing, and Excluding Fold/Flip 6 is a major concern for everyone,Samsung need to improve the communications, and keep customers updated with the right date for software releases, Can anyone read this post confirm his/her opinion as well.

I had the Beta on my S24 Ultra and it was really good
I feel sure it will get released to the S24 series and others quite quickly once it starts

Well I personally would rather wait for something that works as intended. It's not that huge of a deal really and if Apple have more frequent updates, that's probably because they really don't have that much to tweak or the varying amounts of devices to consider

There is also likely an element that Samsung want their 'latest and greatest' phone to have the first software. I can understand that. It is encouraging to make sales which is good business practice and then once the new released phones have had it a few weeks then the rollout begins.

It really wouldnt be a good business decision to rollout the software to the older phones before the new one is released 😉

All manufacturers bring out the software on the new phones first. Just standard industry practice really.

Samsung did not confirm anything officially however, there's one area where Samsung has been trying hard but failed miserably since 2019 is releasing updates simultaneously like fruit company. Like other comments this has been down to ineffective team management which was harshly debated internally in 2022. Samsung is falling behind despite S24 success, the same year when fruit has posted highest profit ever. Samsung is after fruit trying to emulate them but rather Samsung should just try to be themselves, the company they used to be, never afraid to be innovative. From what I hear, cost cutting is expected to continue till 2027 so don't expect massive things for Ultra. Most changes are gonna be just incremental with AI gimmick. When you talk to employees you realise the software and other budgets have been cut down sad but true

The problem is that I haven't seen the proper channel for updates ,only relying on the Internet ,which is not a proper channel at all.

Agreed there that's why I won't be looking to upgrade till at least s27 because a removable battery will have to be implemented by then as per Europe regulations. Samsung should really go back to innovative days that's why we all went to them the presented something different. Yet they have falling profits yet can't see it's because they lost that drive that is costing them in customers to other brands. Hopefully by 2027 they will have themselves sorted out and back to innovating some truly groundbreaking ideas which are lacking in recent times. Plus they are diverting profits to there new vr headset and trifold phone that they hope people will snap up.

If you check this out on the internet you'll find it's just speculation. Or rather another android site trying to grab clicks by sensationalising headlines and stories. The report originated on the Sammy Fans web site. Apparently they spoke to a Samsung exec in the US who couldn't give them a definite date for the One UI 7 update.
