If you have not received it yet, try using the Samsung PC suite, Smart Switch, mentioned in the threads first post.

Way out of date for a U.K. device. Have you tried connecting via Samsung's Smart Switch PC suite, mentioned previously, and checking for an update?

I received the January update on the 9th January for my non carrier branded phone and the the carrier branded model for EE/BT was rolled out a couple of days later.
