Main screen in Flip 6 suddenly glitching

I've been using my Samsung Z Flip 6 for 4 months now

Since I've bought it it was randomly going to home screen from any app

Today the main inner screen suddenly went black, and after a soft reset it worked

But each time I close the mobile it goes hot and becomes unresponsive for sometime

Sometimes it glitches and shows static lines and the display hangs stuck on single frame while the touch works fine

My screen flex cable turned out to be faulty due to hinge issues, I had it taken to warranty service and they replaced my screen and the hinge mechanism under warranty

Hello @No3man and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing these issues with your phone.  😔

There are however a few troubleshooting steps you can try before involving a Samsung Service Centre > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

  • Ensure all your apps and phone's software are fully updated.
  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
  • Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.
  • As a very last resort back up and factory reset.

If these do not help then you can choose to send feedback directly to Samsung via your Samsung Members App too.

However you may need the intervention of a Samsung Service Centre.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
