Hi guys after about seven months of owning my £1700 Z Fold 6 the inner screen suddenly got 2 lines appear on the screen a green/white one at the top and a shorter white one about a third of the way down the right side.

I didn't drop the phone or damage it in anyway. After contacting Vodafone the customer service guy told me Vodafone were well aware of this screen fault. He told me lots of their customers with the Fold 6 had this problem appearing after the phone is about 7 - 8 months old. After my call to Vodafone I did a bit of research myself. This is now becoming a big problem lots of people globally are having this issue with the Fold 6. Just wanted to warn you all especially those of you thinking of buying a Fold 6 in the near future.

Hi! It sounds obvious, but this is well within warranty. Make sure you get this repaired.

@paulmlaforge you can acess the  colour test panels by dialing *#0*# on your Device.

If the code does not help tends to indicate a hardware issue.  you could visit a  service centre/Experience store as suggested, another option is to  go through  the Troubleshooting steps on Samsung Support.  https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

select your product and phone model -Buttons, Screen, Display and Accessories  - Display on your device - Colours, backlight and appearance --My screen has a line (or lines) on the Display.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Please do approach Samsung to have the phone assessed @paulmlaforge

Lol... after fixing my Z fold 4 twice with my money, I made a vow not to buy foldables again.. I'd rather buy a tablet and a flagship phone together.. then get a bag to store them 😂😂😂

Quick update
Samsung tried blaming me and wanted to charge me for a new screen and fitting. So I dropped my phone off at my local Vodafone store. As Vodafone customer service told me to do. Vodafone fitted a new screen for free and posted the phone back to me. Vodafone were great. Apart from not having my phone for 6 days. I was happy with the outcome. But now Samsung know this issue with Z Fold 6 after around 8 month use they should warn customers this could happen and Samsung should replace screen for free like Vodafone did and not blame the customer for a design fault affecting thousands of phones globally. Not what you expect when you're paying £1,500+ for a phone.

Hi I'm having inner screen lines appear.

Two up the top right side light pink and green. And black wider line down the centre.  I haven't dropped it and it's been fine up till now . Not sure what to do. It's still under warranty but you say I shouldn't contact samsung?

Samsung said No and blamed the way I used the phone. Vodafone on the other hand were brilliant. They collected the phone from my home the next day and six days later brought it back to my home with a brand new screen. Completely free of charge. Vodafone are aware there is a design fault with the Z fold/Flip 6.

I had the underwhelming flip, with its cardboard cover

Then I got a fold 6, at 7 months the screen went green.

I get a replacement!  Fold 6 a month ago... it also has gone green!!

If samsung are well aware of this problem, why are they still selling this model, without fixing the issue?

I have to get another phone... again... I'm thinking about the google 9

I've had galaxy phones for years, but sadly, I think they're taking the p#ss! The buggers are charging a fortune for shoddy goods!

Not happy
