Issues with OTA update

I am in the UK using EE, I bought a refurbished Z Fold 5 from Giffgaff few months ago, the last update was in May, I've searched for months and no OTA updates have ever been done 

I am concerned something's broke or glitches?

Someone suggested changing to a different CSC which never worked for me.

The fact s23 people and above are now getting 6.1.1 I can't believe am still stuck on 6.1 may update, something's wrong and I don't know what I can do?

Everyone else seems to already have it for the Fold 5, even older s23 series have it, I can see on Samfw there is 100% later models, I am currently 4 months behind in updates, something's not right

I only received my flip 5 update to 5.1.1 yesterday. Just be patient. Did you actually change your csc? You probably shouldn't do that as changing to the wrong one can cause more problems than it solves. I would suggest changing it back to the original one and waiting.

Please be aware that samsung do sometimes take their time with updates, and for good reason. They are among the best in the world for their software and updates. You should trust that they are doing their best on all levels and just be patient with them.

You could try updating if you have a P.C and use smartswitch to see if you can download any updates if available that way. But as your device is an refurbished model and you don't know what county it was manufactured for, that sounds more likely if you didn't buy it direct from Samsung UK it's a risk buying from a nother source.

Just frustrating when people with older models, are getting 6.1.1 before me, why should a s23, have all the later features before last year's 1700 folding device. Just seems dumb.

Yeah. I've attempted to use smart switch to update it.

Didn't work sadly. Just keeps saying I am up to date regardless of crc

Yes, I agree. But personally I would prefer, given the unique form factor that foldables are, that they took some extra time to get it right.

Remember, the slab phones are easy; they've been doing that for the last 14 years, it's mainly a copy-paste job. our phones have only been with us for 4-5 years and they're still building upon this technology.

Your patience will be rewarded with a stable phone and a great UI experience.

May I ask though, was your flip 5 stuck on an update from May?

That's the only reason I'm posting this, I presume may shouldn't be the latest security update? Prior to August. That's 3 months of no security updates, doesn't seem right. Hence making the most not just bothered about 6.1.1 just want to ensure am getting actual updates. May seems a long time to not have an update, when my girlfriend's pixel updates monthly

@Mykejd as for now s23 series s24 series who still was waiting for update is paused by samsung and official update was removed from their servers until they fixes bugs and re release it again.
