So I've only had this phone for a month and recently the screen started glitching whenever I was putting it in flex mode. (Freezing, lots of lines). At this point I was already on my way to Samsung support but then suddenly the screen went black after a few usues.and I can't do anything. Everything else works, I can still receive calls etc but I can't use it. I've booked it in for repair but I've seen a lot of people in YouTube and Reddit saying they had the same issue after the last update. Seems like a hinge issue. It's a bit disappointing because it is brand new and I've been really careful. Anyone has had the issue recently? I'm hoping they won't charge me for repair (even though it's obviously still under warranty).

Hi @violet090 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋 

Your phone will be covered by a limited 2 year manufacturer's warranty,  but this does not cover accidental damage, unless you added Samsung Care+  

So as long as your phone shows no sign of accidental damage then you'll be fine. 

Take time and date stamped photo's of the phone to show it's aesthetic condition,  and one of the water indicator which js normally visible if you remove the sim card tray.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and for the warm welcome. I'll inspect my phone a bit more closely but yeah I hope it'll be ok. They're collecting it tomorrow. 🤞

Got the flip 6 top half of screen there's a line going to crease bottoms half flickers the second time it's happened, the insurance insurant is terrible everything you make a claime they send a message saying I,t problems and then you got to wait another 2 days for th3m to fix the issue on there end and wh3m they do they ain't contacted dpd just makes it worse ha ha

I had the same issue. Ended up getting a new flip 6 because they didn't have the spare parts needed to repair my original one.

Ooh no! That's a shame. Did you loose all your data then? I'm hoping I'll keep mine. I wasn't able to back anything up due to not be able to access the screen and was told they might not need to wipe it when repairing 🤞

I lost all the data because I couldn't even get it transferred onto laptop. Only what was on external drives...

Well, just got an update saying they can't repair it and are looking for another solution... It looks like is heading in that direction too.

I Brought 2  flip 6s when they came out   mines fine but my partners has got black screen now . is the warranty worldwide ?
