Help with screen and data

Hi all.

Maybe a strange question (apologies for the length)

I have a z flip 4. Less than 2 years old..

The screen has come away at the hinge and screen doesn't work at all

Samsung have said as the hunger looks 'twisted' won't be a warranty repair.....

ANYWAY

how can I access the pictures etc from the flip to ensure they are backed up before engineer wipes it...

I Have a dell laptop

 a Samsung Tab 9

And a Samsung s24 ultra at my disposal....

Fairly tech useless as well so seller the better?

Did you have all your pictures automatically sync to Google photos ?

Doesn't appear to have ... sadly...

Do you know if the touch works on the phone when it's powered on ? You could plug it into your laptop and at the bottom of the phone you would have to allow you laptop permission to access your phone. The allow button would be at the bottom right of the screen

If this does work you can go onto your phone like a USB and find all your picture and videos in the DCIM folder

Managed that but can't sign into anything to link.... so frustrating

They will most probably charge you to backup
