Haptic feedback making weird noises.

I bought a brand new galaxy z fold 5 2 days ago.

Straight out of the box there was a problem with the way the haptic feedback worked.

It made weird noises, and still is as I'm writing this post.

I tried restarting, updating to the latest version, and playing with the haptic settings.

Nothing worked.

What could have caused this? The device never fell or got hit.

Please let me know what to do.

I'm lost.

Hi and welcome, I suspect that somehow the parcel has been dropped during transport and it might have damaged the haptic motor. If it has become loose it will sound like it's rattling. Personally I would return it and order another one but talk to the retailer. Make sure there's no charge to return like a 20% fee though.

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

Is there a warranty with the phone? Contact the retailer and discuss options.

Where are you based?

The box may have been dropped by accident when during delivery.

Definitely do contact the retailer that sold the device to you. They should likely be able to repair or replace your device. I wish you luck.
