Google Home app causes video audio stutters

I've noticed since One UI 5 if you view a security camera in the Google Home app then minimise and go to watch a video the video's audio will now stutter like crazy every second or less. Doesn't matter where the video is played from; YouTube etc. This even seems to impact recording videos from the phone's native camera apps, completely ruining the video I just shot. 

Once you swipe up / close Google Home instantly the problem is solved. This can occur even when the Google Home app is in memory from hours ago - time doesn't solve it, only closing the app.

I've found a workaround is to turn off calls on your connected watch (if you have one)

Huh, that's certainly a weird one! I'd never have suspected the watch to be the culprit but I do indeed have a Watch 5 Pro. I've just disabled calls on it as it's not something I ever use anyway, so let's see if that sorts it. Thanks for your help! Certainly something they need to fix.
