Galaxy Zfold 5

My z fold 5 is quite stiff to open is this right and will it loosen in time or should I contact Samsung if its faulty.

It's ment to have some resistance. So you can open the phone at different angles for flex mode etc
It's not a one handed opening phone like you can with the Z Flip

If you are concerned, try going into a store that has some on display to see. As it's difficult to advise without knowing how stiff to open yours is.
They may get very slightly less stiff over time, but having had a few Fold phones now. My Fold 5 is the same as the other Folds I've had

Thanks for your response, having not owned one before I didn't have anything to compare it with but what you've said makes sense and whilst it's a little stiffer than I thought it might be its not really a problem but I thought I would ask the question. Once again thanks.

I've never had a fold before
Mines like that but wouldn't want it too br to loose as then it would make it easier to drop or maybe damage it
