Galaxy zfold 3. I need help!

I'm in need of some serious help. I've been trying to get my problem fix and no one seems to know how to do it. When I have a new message (text and or email) and i open my phone, the new message will automatically view. I just want to be able to go into the actual app and view it myself. So, let me say it one more time just in case I explained it wrong. If I have a new text message or new email and my phone is on the table, I'll pick up my phone and when I open my phone the new message will automatically appear on my screen into the actual message already. I don't like that. Please someone help me! Its so frustrating! What do I do? Where is it in my settings that I can stop it?

have you tried getting in contact with Samsung support.

Settings.

Apps.

Scroll down to email and tap on it.

Notifications.

Notification Catagories.

New emails.

Show as Pop up toggle is there. 

Mine is toggled Off.

Yes and i dont think they know what im talking about. They suggest i reset my phone but i remember i was in my settings somewhere.

oh ok, i did that. 

Thats not it. It still does it. That pop up is for pop ups on top of my phone. My phone does, when i open my phone, my message will automatically go into the actual app into the direct message.

Look through your settings and screenshot the relevant ones and ill acreenshot the same on mine to see if that helps.

Have you considered clwaring the message app cache and data @veronicarios
