since the last Update i have had following Problems with my Fold 3:

1. Screen will not rotate anymore.

2. When i unfold to inner screen it sometimes doesn't switch from outer to inner screen.

3. When unfolded i have no sound, if i close it a bit over 90 degrees i get sound again .. kind of useless

and the newest Update didn't fix any of These problems!

Somehow I doubt it.   I remember having the iPhone 4S and it was one of the best phones ever since Steve Jobs still had his hands on it - and then he passed away. Anyways when the iPhone 5 came out I noticed there was an update and then all of a sudden the battery life went down and the phone was incredibly slow. Later on Apple was sued for doing this on purpose. Feels that Samsung is doing the same since the Samsung fold 3 and the Samsung fold 6 really don't have that many differences if you look at the specs!! I really hope that Samsung is not doing the same thing by forcing is users to upgrade!!  Hopefully someone will sue them for this and cost them billions! Everyone seems to get greedy in the end

Since they frown upon downgrading. I'm going to have to force downgrade my fold 3. I hope samsung is reading this because if I find any proof they are pulling an apple with their updates I will sue.

Samsung has a solution. Ignore the problem and force people to upgrade to the 6 like apple did

The customer service suggested me to seek help in their service outlet and the solution I got from them was:

1.backup up my phone and do a full reset with the same UI6.0 version, however they could not guarantee will it fix the problem

2. Wait for the next update which the latest one was UI6.1 on 1st July but still it did not fix any of the problem at all.

This is indeed fustrating

It's obvious planned obsolescence. I got fed up and manually rolled back the update and it fixed it but you know that's frowned upon to actually fix an issue they deliberately caused.

I do not recommend doing what I did as it is very difficult and could brick your phone. I did it just to prove a point to myself that it was infact planned obsolescence by samsung. All because their flip/fold 6 is trash and they know it.

I believe the makers have done it on purpose

A well working phone and after software update gets an issue is nothing but unethical practice to increase sales for which Apple was fined long back by EU

Actually I just heard of a class action lawsuit that lawyers are putting together now for this issue. They will definitely win the court case because Apple lost when they did this in the past. So sad for Samsung fans
