Galaxy fold 3 facebook tablet mode

Hi all

So when I use Facebook on the fold 3 in tablet mode it appears that the app is not displaying in a tablet layout. For example the pictures or videos as I scroll are actually bigger than the screen, which seems to me not exactly the point of having the large screen on this phone. I'm wondering whether I'm missing something or is this the same for everyone?

Hi all! I think i found a solution 😄 i also got stuck with this half comment thing until...

First of all you have to go to settings->Display->Continue apps on cover screen and put facebook OFF 

 

Then what i did, hope it works out for you peeps also: 

1. Close all applications.

2. Open phone and Facebook

3. Turn the Phone horizontally.

4. I then Just closed my Phone, closed all the applications again. (Facebook should be in the list)

5. And i opened facebook on the cover screen and it was back normal! 

Eureka! 😂 so i thought i would share this here with you, because it was annoying me very much! To say the least...

You have to go to settings> apps> facebook> and turn "draw over other apps" to the "On" position

Hi - I found a simple solution for Facebook not displaying - go to settings - Screen Layout & Zoom - select STANDARD VIEW - it fixed my issues so I hope it does the same for everyone else - there was no need to close and reload apps as has been suggested in other replies

None of the above worked for me.   I downloaded Facebook Lite from the app store and got the old facebook back.  Everything is wonderful!

Could you post a screenshot? I'm using a different similar to yours but still getting the non optimized version
