My Samsung Fold 3 totally lost all sound from the phone in just over a year of use.
I went to an Authorized Service Center and was charging me SG$700 to repair it.
An independent specialist informed me that this issue is product failure and not user issue (never dropped, screen display OK..) Samsung should understand between product failure and user issue.
This speaker issue (no sound from call, music, ringing) means the connection cut off maybe because of the fold screen design cutting off the cable to feed the speaker. Nevertheless Samsung should take responsibility and repair this issue at no cost to customer.

Have you now gone back to Samsung with your independent specialists report 🤔
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I updated my fold 3 yesterday 14.6.24, no sound at all on the phone after the update. Bluetooth works so I have to use that for calls. This sucks big time, this was obviously something in the upgrade that stuffed the sound

Totally similar issue happening to my Z fold 3 at around the same time. First experience is s21ultra displaying green line on LED screen after update, now zfold3 gives the speaker issue after update. Samsung is a nightmare for me now.

This issue just happened to my Z Fold 3 a couple of days ago. Can't recall whether there was an update though, but certainly didn't drop it whatsoever. However, found that if you folded the inner screen at a certain angle, the sound returns to normal. Sound on the outer screen was fine, up till today, that is. Have to wait to return to SG to figure out what is the issue.

I removed the connection to my Watch. Fixed my Audio issue you have also got
You could try uninstalling apps that use or cotrol Audio one by one.

I have also the exact problem for the past several weeks. I originally thought this was a hardware failure. But from looking at all the comments here and the timing of when people have reported this issue, it seems like this is a software failure of sorts!
Why isn't Samsung acknowledging this and working towards a fix?!
I wish you all a happy day!

I fixed the no audio issue previously by removing all devices that used audio and it turned out that the audio being transferred to my Galaxy Watch 3 was causing loss of all audio on my Fold 3.
This fixed the audio issue.
So, I reinstalled the Galaxy Watch 3 software recently, and Audio worked for a while….
Audio stopped again a couple of weeks ago after another Samsung security update.
Oh, forgot to mention this was the day before I went into hospital for 9 days for spinal surgery.
I never felt so helpless as being unable to contact family or friends for 9 days.
I spent hours today troubleshooting again and just for no other reason than trying everything ran the Samsung troubleshooter and it suggested removing 3rd party cases. No help there as I only had a Samsung case. Still, why not try that.
Well, can someone explain how removing the official Samsung case can fix a NO AUDIO problem?
It looks like Samsung have finally achieved their goal of trying to get me to upgrade my device.
Never Samsung, ever again. If Samsung are trying to win at being a greedy evil corporation, I give them the 1st prize.
Even if this is somehow accidental, it is still grossly incompetent.

I am so sorry to hear of your experience, that too during surgery. Hope you are recovering well.
I do hope Samsung fixes this issue or provides guidance asap. I don't use a Watch and didn't have any other devices connected. This just happened all of a sudden.
