My flip4 gps has stopped working. Everytime i hit google maps start, 5-10mins later i get a notification that an error has occurred, and stops my trip. The blue light that follows your location of North, west, south, and east doesnt line up to where I need to go.

I've tried deleting google play services and readding it. Getting this function to work is quite mandatory, as I'm a house cleaner, and needing my GPS to work is a must. It makes getting to my clients place a headache and a half.

This seemed to happen, after the last update too for the GPS, the blue light has always been finicky.

Hi @Serenity_Selene

Do try Safe Mode to start with please.

> Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

If a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on does nkt work and clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section also does nkt work then you may have to try bavkinh up and performing a factory reset.

> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

You can also send feedback to Samsung via your Samsung Members App.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
