Flash on z flip 6 cover screen?

If the z flip 6 is open and I'm using the cover screen as a view finder - I can turn flash on as normal, but if the phones shut and camera is open I can't. Am I being stupid or is the phone being stupid?

If you download goodlock from the galaxy store
and go into the registar module you could set
hold power button to turn on/off flashlight. That
will keep your double press camera shortcut
too.

Thanks for this. While it turns the flashlight on or off it doesn't work when the camera app is open. I want to be able to leave phone shut and take photo using the cover screen and have it flash... Doesn't seem like it's possible

Yes exactly one of the main reasons I purchased the phone. How ignorant. Is there a way to access a flash on the cover screen????!?????
