Finance applied, but order not placed?

I just attempted to order a flip 5 and tab 9 on Samsung Finance - the thing is, I've got the finance - they've taken the pre-payment out of my bank account and sent me confirmation of the loan agreement but not actually placed the order.

I've rang Samsung who've confirmed nothing has been placed and said they'll try and look into it and get back to me (but implied it could be days), now I'm extremely anxious as it appears I've taken finance of >£1500 for nothing in return, even if they do work out it's an error and refund the money taken and cancel the finance I probably can't take it out again due to not being able to have hard credit checks in quick succession, nor can I afford it once the pre-order offers expire tomorrow.

Has anyone had this happen to them and can reassure me it worked out for them? I'm panicking big time right now.

The order page can take a bit to update.
In fact my upgrade doesn't show up in my orders list.
But I can see it through the upgrade link and Klana app has the details. Initial payment has been made as well.
So by money being taken and a finance agreement. Sounds like the order is in

I was panicking prematurely, the order did eventually come in, it just took an hour between ordering to be able to find it anywhere and before then apparently wasn't even visible to customer services? Or customer services did something to make it apply after I called them. It still isn't in my orders, but I have now got an email at least.

I admit I was already worried something would go wrong and reluctant to order direct with Samsung because I had a poor experience with problems during checkout last time I placed an order direct (but that was just a case of it taking half a dozen tries to get through checkout without errors, then it being delivered a week late despite having paid extra for a specific delivery date & time).

I wish they would warn you that it could take up to x amount of time for the order to show, though customer services didn't seem to think my experience was normal, said confirmation should be more or less immediate and no order had been placed on my account. Unsure if something just went wrong that was rectified or it's a CS training issue during busy periods.

With the release of the new products announcemed in the Unpacked Event last week
The order system can be a bit slower to manage the order traffic
Ordinarily when I buy something it does usually show up quicker
