Extremely Slow Charge After Ui 6 Update

I was just forced to update my phone to UI 6.0 and upon completion, my phone is now charging incredibly slowly. To the point that I am losing charge if I use my phone while it's plugged in. It took an hour and a half to charge 10%. My wife has reported she is having the same issue with a different Samsung phone after hers updated as well. I have had fast charging disabled since I got the phone and have never had issues with the charge speed until it forced this awful update.

When is this going to be fixed? This is completely unacceptable for such an expensive product.

@Arsenulle: Which Flip/Fold device are you experiencing this issue with, and are you using an official Samsung plug adapter (minimum 15W) and USB cable? In the meantime, please try heading to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Charging settings, and toggling on 'Fast charging' to see if this helps?

I have the Fold 4. I did try and toggle fast charging but that did nothing. I have been using the same charge cables since I received the phone and did not have any issues until the phone forced the update. It was even charging normally this morning until the update happened.

OneUI 6 has been out in various forms for many months, and there's not many, if any reports of this problem. That would say there's something wrong with your charger or cable.

@Arsenulle: Do have access to another compatible charger that you can try to see if you notice an improvement? I also recommend heading to the Samsung Members app > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Phone diagnostics > Cable charging, and following the on-screen prompts. Does this return an 'Action required' message in the summary at the end of the test?

That's not true. I am having exactly the same issues since the update. There are lots of complaints online....heaps of them

same problem with mine, im so fed up with samsung, I wish I did not but or tried this, it was charging fast then this UI version 6 drastically change charging from super fast to super slow. I hope samsung will resolve this,.

correct, they are  finger pointing to chargers when it fact it was perfectly fine not until the UI 6 version.

I too have exactly the same problem since the update! Phone is losing charge even when plugged in. Cables and chargers are Not the issue. As soon as the update completed, my phone says 'slow charging' although the fast charging settings are on. It now takes over 8 hours to charge. Considering backing up and trying a factory reset!!? I had no problems before the update but had issues immediately afterwards!!!!!!!
