Hi there!

Basically, I'm trying to connect my phone to my PC to send a few files over. When I press connect on my phone, it just instantly says it failed.

I try this on my laptop (A Vivobook 16x by ASUS), and it says its connected.

Why is this happening? It worked fine last time I did it on my other laptop.

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community!

Are you using any 3rd party software for antivirus/ device scanners which may be blocking the device? *some brands include them.

If your laptop in S mode? (Settings > System > Activation)

If your phones connects perfect on your desktop but not your laptop- its either windoes or asus. Id suggest contacting windows support first

Do you use VPN? It could interfere with the transfer.
