Charging port not working

My Samsung Z Flip 6 is less than 2 months old. It has had a protective case since day one. It has not been submerged in water. There is nothing stuck in the charging port. However the charging port no longer works. I can use a wireless charger but it charges VERY slowly and gets VERY hot. I do not want to ship my phone off. The nearest repair centre in person is over 30miles away. Does anyone have any advice please? Thank you

Same issue was gone with the latest update but now it's happening again. Proper ***** take. Tried all the troubleshooting. Darent send it off to samsung incase they charge me even though it's in warranty!!! It must be either a bad batch of phones or bugs. I would love to hear samsung admit there is a major issue.

I have this problem with my Samsung flip, this is my second one as well, I got the flip when it first launched and that developed the same issue just before I upgraded to this one. This one I have now started with the same problem after 4 months of having it. I am using a wireless charging unit .... never have another one though as they are awful

I had to send it off to Samsung to be repaired. It came back quite quickly, think it was just over a week. So far it appears to be working fine
