Audio Recordings/ Voice notes not working everywhere

Hi so about a week ago I noticed my voice notes on WhatsApp weren't recording audio and instead just plain silence, I tried this on ig and also on the voice recorder app and its the same, no audio gets picked up.  However, videos pick up the audio fine. I have tried cleaning my phone, taking the case off, restarting the phone and everything updated, no Bluetooth devices are connected. I have a Flip Z 3 5g

Actually the issue is not always present. It happens maybe once in ten times I record a message.

i have the same problem in A54 5g, sometimes make a silent recording and whatsapp voice msg in blank. It´s  happen randomly. Any solution?

Same issue here on my new galaxy A54 running A14 and oneUI 6, it seems to happen randomly when sending voice messages on whatsapp but its frequent enough to annoy me, I have to double check for sound waves on the visualizer every time i send a voice note. I hope this is fixed ASAP

I can confirm this problem with the latest update to UI6 on my A54. It’s just plain silence in 3 out of every 10 voice notes and it happens randomly. I thought Sound Assistant had something to do with it but no luck to determine what the problem is. I guess it’s a bug in the OS.

So far as a quick solution, I lock the voice recording to see if the wave it shows while recording moves or it's just flat. If it's flat I just cancel the recording and try again.

Likewise. I updated my A54 on 10 December and since then issues with voicenotes on WhatsApp and Signal. It does work though, just not on the first go. I'll start a voicenote, know it will be blank, discard it, and then start again, and the second one will work as normal. It's annoying because I keep forgetting the first one is going to be blank. Not sure what the issue is.

I am too experiencing empty voice notes despite my rambling on. Quite annoying! And the second time round is never quite said in the same way.
It seems to be for me since the most recent update and on multiple apps
I do hope they got this soon as it is very annoying!

I am liking the tip of locking the voice note on WhatsApp to see if the sound waves, I will be remembering this one!

I would like to report the same problem with my Samsung a54 , it happens right after the last update. Randomly empty audio messages. That's very annoying, when you have to record your messages again and again.

I hope the solution will be finded soon. In the meantime maybe is there any way to go back to the previous update?

I have same problem after update my A54. The voice recorded randomly on whatsapp and telegram. I alway have to keep an eye on my sent voice to  chek if it's not empty.
