Android 16 Beta

Android 16 1st beta edition is out now and we're still waiting for Samsung to give us Android 15/One UI 7. Samsung just isn't the company it once was. My next phone will be a Google Pixel not another Galaxy.

Oh no, Google upped it's OS update cycle to 6 months instead 1 year! It's surely the end of Samsung for not needlessly keeping pace...

To be clear, Google developed the software. Then, other companies modify the software to include their own features- so yes, google pixel get it first. In terms of hardware, Samsung is ahead; however, if you prefer earlier Android releases, that is totally fair. In my option I perfer samsungs design, software and UI. Its down to preferences.

Samsung already working on OneUI 8 , one member here said that a month or two ago.

Actually Android is one 16 Beta 2
Thing is that it's not a race. Your phone still works and the update to One UI 7 will be here soon
Thi k you would be more annoyed if your phone was buggy with the new software.
So getting it right before release is the right thing to do.
One UI 7 is a substantial change and adapting to older phones will take as long as it needs

That's the problem there over stretched. They should complete one ui 7 and release it before moving on to one ui 8.

Sure agree with you, everyone is so impatient for One UI7 like it's the OS of all OS's, and I bet when it gets released, everyone will still be complaining, as John said, Samsung and Google have a great relationship, especially with Samsung making Gemini a default assistant, but Samsung phones are much better. I know over 10 people which has left other phone makers for Samsung. Everyone complains about only 12GB of RAM, but the 🍏 16 pro max only uses 8GB and maybe going up to 12GB on the iPhone 17. It's better when 🤫 is heard, and those which wanna jump ship, jump, only to come back after their other phone contract ends 😊
