Hello Samsung community,
I'm a big fan of your product and enjoy your devices since more than 10 years.
When your released a long time ago Linux on Dex, it was a real game changer, Samsung was the best brand for developer. Bad new after one year, the LoD beta program have been cancelled.
Now I'm enjoying your perfect foldable Zfold 7 and I'm afraid that you lock the AVF support and it's the same for all your devices as explained in this article: https://www.androidauthority.com/android-15-virtual-machine-mandate-3498428/
Do you have a roadmap to share or at least be transparent about this issue with your customer ?

The Android Linux terminal / AVF support is still missing in the One UI8 / Android 16 update for the Tabs S10 Ultra and probably any Samsung device.
At this point I am deeply annoyed by Samsung. I suspect, this feature isn't requested by many users so Samsung can get away with removing a feature required by Google.
I wish, I had known this before my purchase and I hope Google takes actions against Samsung.
Edit: The Galaxy Tab S11 got AVF. There also some Samsung phones with it. Allegedly, the CPU must support 'non-protected virtual machines'. Could be still related to Knox. Can't find anything about the CPU in my S10.
The lack of infos is frustrating.

If it's only a matter of SoC features (support of non-protected VMs) and not anything Samsung can easely work around, then devices of other manufacturers with the unlucky SoCs should not get AVF either.
Best case would be a statement by Samsung of course.
Hope, the older devices are not left behind.
