5.1.1 Update has broken Google Maps, Landscape mode

So many things broke with that last update to 5.1.1 my Flip 5 phone is close to unusable.  How do I rollback?

For security reasons you can not rollback.
Rolling back you are installing a previous security update and that's not allowed for security reasons.
But Flip 5 already have the one ui 5.1.1 out of the box.
I have both Flip 5 and Flip 5g (Flip 2) with one ui 5.1.1 and the October update working fine.

looks like the magnetometer is reporting garbage because the compass is going crazy.  diagnostics say it's good.  any way to reset the sensor?

I did a wipe data/factory reset and installed everything from scratch.  It was still misbehaving until I updated some Android services and then the compass started working.  Must have had some API mismatches that was affecting the sensor data. Can confirm Google Maps Live View is now working.
