I need a solution to the problem of sound quality from my s9 Edge.

The sound is jumping and distorting on play back of all apps, music or video.

All apps updated and a recent software update that been done.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What are telephone conversations like ?

You can test the speakers via going over to your dial pad and type in *#0*#, this will bring up a number of tests to try.

Assuming it's not had an accidental bump or water damage then perhaps approach a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre for them to help @mcmcmcmc

conversations are fine, but not tried a conversation on loud speaker.
