Tried to clear the cache partition of the phone and also tried wiping the app data and cache but I still have the problem

Indstillinger → Apps → 3 prikker i højre hjørne → Systemapps → Smart Call → Lagring → Ryd data

Settings -- Apps -- 3 dots at the right -- System aps -- Smart Call -- Storage(I think) -- delete data

did the trick for me.
