Device has been restarted and the issue is also present after 2 monthly patches have been applied. The widget is screen width. Resizing doesn't resolve the issue.

I don't see that issue either. Does increasing padding help, a little? Tap and hold the widget for additional menu

My screen resolution is just as I want it so don't want to change just so a widget shows the time correctly. For the time being I've just turned off 24 hour format as a workaround.
