Timer in Status Bar

I have a Galaxy S25 running OneUI 7.0 and Android 25.

I don't want the timer to show up in the status bar. 

Is there a way to turn this off?

Settings- notifcations- app notifications- clock- turn off Live notifications

Note that there is still a little hour glass symbol in the status bar, annoying but not as bad as the count down timer

Settings > Notifications > App notifications > Clock > Notification categories > Stopwatch > Off. This also removes it.

First solution to get rid of the active timer: If you dislike seeing the timer completely, this will work.
