I NEED YOUR HELP GUYS.
When I had my Pixel 8 i turned on the Privacy Folder and installed Facebook, Messenger, and Google Photos.
I noticed that when i was trying to upload photos from Facebook within the Privacy Folder the app could not "find" my photos.
I understand Samsung has the equivalent of Privacy Folder (I think it's called Secure Folder). My question is will i be able to "find" my photos under Gallery or Google Photos on my Facebook within the Secure Folder environment?
Please help.

They will be hidden within Secure folder. If copied out that would make them accessible by other apps

So, does that mean i will not be able to find my photos from the Gallery or Google Photos app within Secure Folder using Facebook on a Galaxy phone even if those two apps are installed within the Secure Folder environment?

@Gino76ph: Any apps that you move to your Secure Folder will essentially create their own dedicated version of the app inside the folder, and this won't be accessible by any third party apps outside the folder. If you have some photos that you wanted to share on Facebook, then you will be required to remove them from the Secure Folder. When doing so, they will be placed back in the standard Gallery app, which can be accessed by Facebook (provided that the necessary permissions have been enabled).

Thank you for responding.
So, my simple question remains: If I have apps such as Facebook or WhatsApp in the Secure Folder can i attach or upload a photo from those apps? Yes or No?
And...
Will i need to have the Gallery app or Google Photos installed in the Secure Folder environment in order for my phone to "find" the photos and upload/attach them to Facebook or any similar apps? Yes or No?
And, how or which settings in those i need to ensure that the necessary permissions are enabled in order for my phone to "find" my photos?

Whatsapp/Facebook in secure folder -
- ability to access photos stored within secure folder - yes
- ability to access photos not stored within secure folder - tested with whatsapp just now - yes
-------------------
Whatsapp/Facebook not in secure folder -
- ability to access photos stored within secure folder - no
--------------
Your question about necessary permissions - these are your regular android device level permissions which are automatically prompted to you when you attempt to access/share data cross apps (e.g - "allow facebook to access your contacts" etc)
--------------
- you can move photos and videos in and out of secure folder
- secure folder has it's own "gallery" app (and google photos app if you install it within secure folder)

So, just to clarify....My aim is very basic: put "private" photos or files on the Secure Folder and at the same time hide apps such as social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Google Photos, etc.to keep it from prying eyes or thieves.
If i use Facebook or WhatsApp i want to be able to attach photos from Google Photos installed within the Secure Folder. You said that is possible in the latest One UI 8's Secure Folder am i correct in reading that?
