I've tried it all: separate app sounds in settings, installing Sound assistent through Good lock and turning off notifications through headphones but I still get notification and system sounds when I play music over bluetooth. I also don't want the music to duck/mute for a second when a notification is being played. I just want my music or podcast over bluetooth. I would however like my notification and system sounds on my phone. Why is this simple sound routing made so bloody difficult? Why do I have to go through all this stuff and ending up with no success. Clearly there's a high demand for this simple option if I look on places like Reddit and this forum.
