Spen. Bluetooth or not

First things first. 

DON'T UPGRADE TO THE S25 ULTRA IF YOU USE THE BLUETOOTH S PEN! 

Yes they removed the Bluetooth in the Spen and I know that's a huge downgrade to most of you however the upgrade between the S24 and the S25 ISN'T necessary if you only care about 1 thing. 

As someone who upgraded from the S24 to the S25 I did for the following reasons

- Bigger screen (why? Idk I liked it lol)

- rounded edges - The S24 Ultra hurt my hands when using it and I gotten sick of it as I'm usually always on my phone. 

- barely noticed Spen - I only knew the Bluetooth existed when I was messing with the phone before I upgraded and I don't take photos like ever so it's use for me was little to none. 

Anyway that's it. Im tired so I'm going to listen to music Adios! 😃

Yes it's been well documented on this forum,  tech site's, and on YouTube that the sPen no longer is a Bluetooth version on the Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra. 

For some this maybe a deal breaker and for others it wouldn't have been a feature that was used,or used rarely so will not be deterred. 

Personally I still own and use the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra too which as the Bluetooth option however I've never used that option since purchase. 

I also didn't feel the boxy design hurt my hands. Also I always had a case on the phone. 

I do however would have liked the sPen to be colour coded to the phone's colour 🤔 

However this didn't stop me from upgrading to a Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra although I did at first think I may not. 

I like the weight of this phone , flat sides ,and have come to appreciate the rounded corners.  

This phone is extremely well optimised due to the new soc.

One Ui⁷ is very nice and I'm sure the many that are waiting for it's release to eligible phones will be happy with it 

I'm  ' phone person ' so updating my phone is what I do. 

Did I need the Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra ~ No. 

Did I want the Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra ~ Yes.

I admit I hate that the pen doesn't match my phone and ive made it clear a few times but eh. Its a very hard to notice thing when ur phone isn't all 1 colour. Titanium black is only black on the back not the sides.

Has anyone else noticed the screen-mirroring on S25 Ultra lags quite a lot. I can't finish a movie without having to disconnect it and reconnect it. Is there anything I can do to overcome this, if there is, please do share🙏

Must admit I was disappointed by the removal of the S Pen bluetooth functionality and its still something I find hard to fathom, especially as I understand it is just the pen that has the missing hardware whilst the phone itself has the capability hardware wise to support it but just not the software.

I am working around the loss of the S pen remote shutter with a separate remote bluetooth shutter fob although know there are other ways too. The air gestures are not something I used very much myself.

I very nearly didn't get the S25U but changed my mind after cancelling an initial order and am very pleased I did. Really appreciating the faster chip, cooler running, battery life, improved image signal processing and the new physical design has really grown on me. Also enjoying the Gemini integration. The new model is not something I really needed but couldn't resist upgrading from the S24U and really liking it. The pre-order deals were also really good and a great incentive. Lots of stuff to really like about the new model in my view.

I have a Bluetooth problem with my speaker. Every time I connect, it automatically disconnects after a few minutes. I tried it with another phone and it works fine. But with the S25 Ultra it has problems. It seems to be a software problem and a bug.

Barely use the S-Pen let alone it's Bluetooth functions, so that was never a deterrent for me. The faster, cooler and better performing phone, with better battery life to boot, over the S24 Ultra has been well received however. I do admit I prefer the squared corners of the S24 Ultra but the flat sides and totally flat screen is my preference from the S25 Ultra. Maybe mix the 2 next time please! 🥺. Loving my Jadegreen, although I wish a slight bit lighter shade.
