Battery is terrible

Hi everyone,

I’m just wondering if others are facing the same issue.

When I first got the S25 Ultra, the battery life was amazing — easily lasting well over a day even with moderate use. However, after a recent software update, the battery life has dropped significantly. Now it struggles to last even a full day with very minimal usage.

A friend of mine who bought the S25 Ultra at the same time is also experiencing the exact same issue after the update, so I’m wondering if this is a widespread problem or something else going on.

Has anyone else noticed a big drop in battery performance after the update?

Would be great to hear your experiences — and if you’ve found any fixes!

No issues. Steady battery life. Try clearing phone cache partition and or hard reboot the phone

same issue since last update my phone also heats up a lot even with battery saving mode on doing basic tasks like web browsing , I have cleaned my system cache but still same issue I have lost on average 3-4 hours of on screen time since that last update using the phone the same way as I did before I have also disableded back round apps to see if that helps but it doesn't must be an OS issue affecting some users what a pain should have kept my s23 ultra battery was amazing on that even being that old ,

Yep battery drain here to, ive all so wiped cache to no difference

yeah something is way wrong with the last update I usually get around 10 hours of on screen time , I get just over 3 hours now or 4 hour ISH with power saving mode on with all background apps disable , plus my phone heats up a lot at the top of the phone it was shown 63°C earlier when I was only checking my emails and on WhatsApp such a pain have to charge it like 3 times a day now I wish I can roll back the update as it was perfect before this update ☹️ ,below is a before the update of my battery and after the update of what I get now ,

I've found one thing that was causing most of my battery drain it's the google app , and good play services since removing myself off of the beta of those to apps I uninstalled them and reinstalled then so I had the normal versions and not the beta and since then battery has gonna way better again it was keeps YouTube and other apps active causing the battery drain and now it's not since doing that , not sure if that will help anyone else if they are also a beta tester for those Google apps

How's everyone's battery since one ui7 update 

I have had my s25 model three weeks today idle mode noticed a drop ik percentage 5 or 6 percentage since updated the phone software one ui 

Baring in mind signal is ***** in my area but other places fine 

Phoen is working ok shame software is draining battery anyone else had this

For me, on the S23 Ultra, it has improved my battery. And I believe your phone resets your battery usage and learns it again so in a week it should be better download ampere your battery usage should be around 160
