How do you get Samsung members stars and what happens if you so get it

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Your journey starts by becoming an active and engaging member, helping others with their questions, posting your own questions, creating a positive environment but also not being afraid to challenge (hopefully) in the right way (although I'm sure we don't always get it spot on lol).

It takes time, many of us have been here for several years but we do what we do for no personal gain. We are all customers just like you. We love the brand, and the products, but if we don't like, we say, but in a constructive way.

Key thing - enjoy being here and helping others (even if they do keep asking when One UI7 is coming 😊😊).

We are a small group of individuals that spend time helping others on this community. We pass on knowledge and learn along the way about samsung products and tech.

Because we spend a lot of time on here we learn about issues, resolutions and generally how to help out.

If contributions are valuable and noticed in the ranks of the forums and by the staff moderators then it is possible to become a star.

Stars get invited to have meet ups, attend some Samsung events such as new release events, and perhaps some merch every so often.

We all have normal day jobs so we are not samsung employees but we all share passion for technology and helping community members to find solutions.

It is important to know that our opinions are our own and not influenced or scripted by anyone but ourselves. However we are stars on the 'Samsung community' for a reason that we enjoy samsung devices so we are generally very happy with their products.

It is also not just about spamming the community wirh dozens of posts quickly... but genuinely to find solutions and be helpful.

Feel free to interact and ask any questions about your samsung devices that you need.

We do like to chat but it is usually focused around Samsung and related conversations.

Over time it will help you to gain good knowledge and to help pass on the knowledge around. Be careful though to be accurate in what advice is given. Also be careful of the sources of information. A lot of the Android websites are NOT official information and therefore do not always have the correct information.

It will be great to have you around. And if you have any great photos that you are proud of that show off the samsung camera system and hardware then feel free to put them on the gallery.

Every month there is a best photo competition for the 'photo of the month'.

In the US forum someone posted the ranking system. You see my rank is "troubleshooter" meaning I'm level 14 here. Once you hit the top rank (level 21 I believe) and you keep going, you might get invited to join the stars (top 0.1% of users if I remember right). Adding my bit as the ranks other than stars never seem to be discussed much.

You are currently level 1, so be nice, help people and eventually it'll increase

I'm unsure if that is totally true, seeing as some Samsung Members' stars aren't close to the max level before getting the star. I believe it's based purely on your helpfulness, awareness, and contribution in the forums. But yes the top 0.1% is true

From time to time some awe able to attend events yes.

For example 3 of us were extremely honoured to be invited to San Hose in January for the Samsung S25 Unpacked launch 😂

In the early days, you move up the ranks quickly then it starts to slow down.

But please don't focus on ranks. Focus on being an active member, helping others and being helped in a positive and constructive way.
