Hi everyone .

I have been using S25U since 2weeks. I noticed battery drain issue while doing WhatsApp video call more. I'm

getting SOT of 5 to 5.5Hours. Otherwise I'm getting 6.5Hours of SOT.

I'm using HD option in display and kept most of the apps in sleep mode. Still I'm getting 5.5hours of SOT.

I have asked for a phone replacement and the supplier refused by saying wait for the update to sortout the issue.

Please someone help is this normal or I got faulty one.

Where the supplier behaviour is appalling, I'd rather have a full refund 🤔. You're within your rights. That's strange, maybe you could completely reinstall the app?

Demand a Refund.
Claim through your Credit Card, or Debit Card ( Doesn't offer as much Protection as a CC. But still worth a try .

Well your always on display is on so that's how it will drain more battery

Sorry to hear of your issues. Most users who have shared their thoughts are indicating the S25 Ultra has exceptional battery power.

I use my device heavily and my current battery use is:

78% battery used
13.5 hours Screen On
2.5 hours Screen Off

I have screen set to QHD+ as well as I buy an ultra to use it, not to spend my time working out how to save battery.

WhatsApp video call is notoriously heavy on battery use. But I will still expect you to get more out of your device.

Clear cache in WhatsApp to start.

Did you bring your apps over using SmartSwitch at all?

Or try to understand what is causing that battery use. As a first poster, your comment is aggressive. Remember, there are usually reasons for this type of device behaviour, usually created by the user. So the device may be fine with settings changes.

User may also lose all the discounts and offers if they refund then reorder.

I agree. but my main issue is during video calls its draining 2% for 5minutes and overheating. i will turn off AOD and see the results.

Hi,

the detials you shared doesnt look genuine. could you please share the battery usage screen . because without whatsapp calls and a normal usage im getting maximum of 6.5hours of SOT.
