If you are copying and pasting the IMEI, simply delete the last digit and type it back on manually.
Remember also to accept the T&Cs

I guess of the problem persists then it may be needed to investigate why... perhaps with the customer care team.
A few reasons why it may not work...
- is the phone still within a contract and the finance is not fully paid off.
- the imei has been put into a previous attempt on the trade in system... sometimes it may take a little while to become available again.
- Just as a trial did you try the imei2 number. I have heard instances in the past where the imei1 did not work but the imei 2 did.
- is the phone of the correct region code CSC. If it is not a UK phone it may cause an issue on the system. Contact customer care in this instance.
- is rhe phone model you have selected definately matched with the hardware.
If the problem persists then I would suggest contact the Samsung team. They should be able to tell you why the imei match is failing on the database.
