S25 U Front Screen Protection

Does anyone use it without a Screen Protector. I have used all phones with Screen Protectors including the S25U (ESR from Amazon).

However, for nearly a month or so I have used it without. With the UK sun, it has been a joy to use outside. I will probably get Screen protection for Winter though.

I have one teeny teeny scratch near the top of the phone which is not visible. In fact, moving the phone around, you would be clutching at straws trying to locate it. For this reason I am abit sceptical about not using one for the long term.

As a rule due to being told as a kid how to look after things so they will last a lifetime in my hands, I always buy screen protectors & cases for my phones even before they have arrived & they don't get used until the protector & case have been applied. I bought the above screen protectors & applicator from Amazon for my S25 Ultra & it worked perfectly to apply the protector with 0 🫧 on the screen.

No issues with glare be it sunlight, daylight or at night so would recommend. I recently sold my S10 on Ebay for £450! The buyer could not believe it's condition & I did tell them that I look after my things very well & it is in pristine condition & they won't find another like it & they agreed.

I more concerned that oleophobic layer is worn off hence the screen protector

I use Samsung official screen protector

I've just given up with screen protectors on mine after 6 months. The official Samsung one is ok. But scratches up. My view is why slap a screen protector on for someone else to enjoy a pristine screen when you trade it in. I've gone 2 weeks now without the screen protector and it's so much better. Blacks are deeper. Gestures are better.

I usually do the same- put the screen protector on as soon as I have unboxed. Then I do my fingerprints. I will keep that brand in mind when I eventually put one on!

I agree to an extent. I hate watering down the high end features- display, QHD etc, refresh rate. I only have a clear case on at the moment. However, may take it off too! I have enjoyed the screen during the summer so far.

Can't and won't go ANYWHERE without a case or screen protector on my S25 Ultra. I did try without both for awhile but I couldn't do it as it was far too risky even for me. I currently use a mous case and ESR Screen protector.

That's understandable. I have had phones since the iPhone 4 and the only screen I damaged was the S7 Edge. I have never ruined a screen even with protection. The ESR screen protector was the one I used and will probably go back to soon!
