Hi everyone, I recently purchased the S25 Ultra, and I've been facing a frustrating issue. The phone overheats randomly, even during light tasks like watching YouTube videos. As a result, I lose about 10-15% of my battery in just 10 minutes. The area near the camera gets hot, and the entire screen heats up as well. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It feels like every Samsung phone I get ends up having some kind of issue or poor battery life. I’m seriously considering boycotting Samsung again, like I did before, and switching to OnePlus long-term.

Hello 👋 @azuris
I'm sorry to learn your experiencing this user experience. 😔
Can you please try these troubleshooting steps.
1. First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
2. There is a diagnostic tool 🔧 found in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.
3. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
4. Https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/
A Samsung Service Centre can assess the phone if your past any relevant cooling off period to have the phone swapped out.
Please do let us know how you get on.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
