S25 ULTRA OVERHEATING ISSUE

Hi everyone, I recently purchased the S25 Ultra, and I've been facing a frustrating issue. The phone overheats randomly, even during light tasks like watching YouTube videos. As a result, I lose about 10-15% of my battery in just 10 minutes. The area near the camera gets hot, and the entire screen heats up as well. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It feels like every Samsung phone I get ends up having some kind of issue or poor battery life. I’m seriously considering boycotting Samsung again, like I did before, and switching to OnePlus long-term.

I'm the complete opposite. Never had any over heating issues with my Samsung devices. Did you use smartswitch to transfer apps over from old device?. Try wiping the phones cache partition. If issues still persist may be factory reset start fresh. Transfer all important data over and download apps from the stores.

Hi, Just wondering how long you've had your new S25U? It takes a couple of weeks for the phone to complete its battery learning phase. I've felt mine runs really cool and I watch quite a lot of YouTube

I havent had any issues either apart from first day when it a got a little warm when transferring from old s24U to the new s25U. This is normal behaviour, so no concerns and has stayed nice and cool since.

I am a heavy user, so expect a little heat but I found it so much better

Loving my S25U, it super fast and super fast

Hello 👋 @azuris

I'm sorry to learn your experiencing this user experience. 😔

Can you please try these troubleshooting steps.

1. First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

2. There is a diagnostic tool 🔧 found in your Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.

3. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

4. Https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

A Samsung Service Centre can assess the phone if your past any relevant cooling off period to have the phone swapped out.

Please do let us know how you get on.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi! By recently, do you mean recent recent? My battery performance was horrible at first, as the device needs to calibrate itself. This can take up to two weeks; my personal experience was at least double batterylife. The Samsung S25U has an insane vapor chamber, so the heat you're feeling may just be the vapor chamber keeping the heat off the components and pushing it elsewhere.

Did you use Smart Switch? If so, make sure to go to the Google Store/Galaxy Store and update all applications.

Be sure to also clear the cache partition.

Haven't witnessed this. I watch YouTube and tiktok for hours each day.
Consider clearing cache partition or factory reset the phone.
Don't forget backing up important files or apps.
