hi,
just got my S25 ultra last week, then i noticed the notwork speed is low over wifi. so i investigate more on this.
And i found that S25 ultra only connects to 2.4 ghz wifi , not connects to the 5 ghz.
Then i tried to seperate the wifi names for 2.4 and 5 ghz band , surprisingly 5gh band is not even showing in the wifi list of S25 ultra . it only shows and connects to 2.4 ghz

Manually add your 5GHz Wi-Fi network or if you already have an older phone connected, use the QR code

Why do you need to connect to 5G on the WiFi when the s25ultra WiFi is powerful anyways without 5g

I have encountered the same issue and was able to partially resolve it. By accessing the Intelligent WiFi menu, activating the WiFi Labs section, and adjusting the WiFi list options, I managed to display most 5GHz networks. However, my phone still defaults to the 2.4GHz network on dual-band setups, which is incredibly frustrating for a $1200 device. Additionally, it fails to detect all the 5GHz networks available in my home. Despite a recent update, the problems persist. Samsung, please address these concerns.

I have the same problem with my S25+ but I only started experiencing it when using my travel router on holiday. After numerous restarts, resets etc I found an article on YouTube which recommended turning on airplane mode to remove interference from the SIM. As I have a SIM and an ESim I gave it a go and bingo all my 5G started showing. I have found it works the same by turning off data so my phone is still usable. I will check when I get home to see if the problem reappears
